About Us
Mount Olive Lodge No. 3 is a subordinate lodge to the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Kansas and it's Jurisdiction.
We are located in Leavenworth, Kansas , and serve the Leavenworth County community! Mount Olive Lodge No. 3 was moved to Leavenworth in 1956 and has been to present day.
Our lodge is composed of 42 active members, most of which live within the Leavenworth community. We all come from different walks of life, backgrounds and socioeconomic status'. We are passionate about the Masonic order and all serve in many capacities throughout the craft. Many of us are active leaders within the community.
We are also and active partner with the Leavenworth Chapter of the NAACP, Community Services Organization (CSO), Richard Allen Cultural Center, and many other wonderful organizations.
We also pride ourselves in our work conducting our traditions and ceremonies.
Our mission is to support the advancement of Prince Hall Masonry by developing Masons who are assets to the Leavenworth, Lansing and Fort Leavenworth communities.
Mount Olive Lodge's purpose is to also assist charitable programs which support the Leavenworth County community. One of our main missions is the Annual Eugene Graves Memorial Scholarship, which has awarded two scholarships annually for a total of 38 scholarships to date, to our local high school seniors.
We are working on expanding our scholarship program to assist student that wish to attend a trade school or non traditional advanced schooling. Our biggest fundraising event of the year is our Annual Scholarship Black and White Ball, traditionally held on the 1st Saturday in November. We also have an ongoing fundraiser at Buffalo Wind Wings in Leavenworth, KS!
